Happy Birthday to Bryson!

8 years ago, God gave me the best Birthday gift I could ever ask for! Bryson was born at 2:38 in the morning! I remember not being able to fall asleep so I sat there in the hospital starring at him. In complete awe over his little fingers, feet, toes, his long eye lashes and his baby scent, that I will never forget! At the time I remember thinking, now what do I do? At that moment things were so calm, but not for long! Lol Fast forward 8 years… Seriously 8 years!!! Where did the time go? My little guy amazes me on a daily basis! He plays hockey. When he falls down he bounces right back up. He is full of character, and knows how to bring a smile to everyone’s face! There’s no question he’s a momma boy or as he would put it “a Momma fan”! This little man stole my heart from day one! I love you little man!

Hitting it hard 💪🏼

How’s everyone doing today? Has everyone got their workouts in for the day?

I’m a morning person when it comes to my workouts. I find that by end of day I am wiped out.  I try to make it a point to hit the gym at least 4 times per week. Preferably 5, but sometimes life gets in the way.  People always ask me if I do classes, and the answer is no. The gym is my time, and to be honest I like to plug my head phones in, and jam out while I bust out my workout! Maybe down the road when I get more free time I’ll do yoga again. In the mean time the gym is my version of xanax!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic day!

Great Danes Are Good For The Soul!

For all of you that know me, know that I have a great love and passion for Great Danes! I have had many breeds throughout my lifetime, and I can honestly say hands-down that Great Danes do you live up to their name “Gentle Giant”!

My girls name is Bella and she is a blue Great Dane who will be three years old on August 16th! I have two young children, that she is fantastic around!

My fur baby brings nothing but happiness to our home! She knows she’s one of the kids and has an abundance of silliness!

Oils are a part of her life as well. I bet you didn’t know you could use oils on your fur babies. I’ll save that topic for another time!

Here’s a picture of my Big Love Bug!

Magnify Your Purpose…

When I first got this oil I wasn’t the fondest of the scent. I talked to my girlfriend, and she said put it in the diffuser, and then let me know what you think.  To this day it is one of my favorite oils and most used! You can say it grew on me!

What is the difference between Neat & Diluted…

What is the difference between Neat & Diluted…

What is the difference between Neat and Diluted?

You will here people suggest for you to use an oil “neat”. What that means is you don’t have to dilute the oil, and you can apply it directly on your skin.

There are many oils that require dilution.

What you would do is add a carrier oil like V6, coconut oil, olive oil etc to the essential oil you are using. Every bottle of Young Living Essential Oils will have suggested uses on the label.

Something else to keep in mind is to never use any Citrus Oils on your skin before going into the sun. Citrus oils are photo sensitive which means your skin can burn easier when in the sun.
